Abstract kinetic sculpture or stabile of bent and cut sheet metal and metal wire, all painted black, created circa 2010. Essentially a maquette, as Hunter always thinks about scaling up to landscape size. Hunter (born 1963) studied advertising art on the west coast, becoming a graphic designer in Santa Barbara before moving to New York City to work for Sony as a graphic artist. As a full-time artist/sculptor, Hunter has studios in New York City and Sherman, CT. His work was exhibited at the Museum of Arts and Design (MAD), where he is listed as studio artist alumni.
