Rare David Wurster Lamp Table for Raymor (SOLD)

Lamp table of solid birch with enameled steel legs and flexible gooseneck armature, with signature wooden ball switch. Designed by David Wurster for Raymor, circa 1951. Wurster's s side tables and lamps appeared throughout the design literature in the early 1950s. This is the only example of this compound form I have encountered. Ref: Furniture Forum; Modern Furnishings for the Home; Current Design (Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston).  The table itself measures 21.5" high.

Condition
Excellent. Fine overall condition with minor wear to the metal throughout. The birch table has been refinished, and the lamp has been rewired. The shade is new.
