Set of six beech bentwood chairs, composed of four side chairs and two armchairs. A classic Viennese cafe or bistro design manufactured by Gebruder Thonet in Austria, circa 1920’s. With period paper labels and burn marks underneath. Price is for the set. Measurements are of an armchair.
Condition
As found—vintage condition. Structurally fine all around, with veneer crack toward the back of one seat, pictured. Surface wear and tear and scratching throughout, consistent with age and use.
